Family Pictures

Well, I did not tell you, but my Mommy, Daddy, Shasta, and I had some family pictures taken a few days ago at this place called Jack Stone's Barn in Lemoore. I will not lie...I was NOT excited about this (and you can see it in some of the pictures). I really wanted to play with Miss Jaime's (the photographer's) camera, but well, she did not let me...'til the end. Thank goodness Mommy thought enough to bring my cell phone and Cookie Monster along! That made me happy. But you can click on the link below to enjoy some sneak peaks at the photos! They did come out pretty good...

Birthday Bonanza and Halloween Happenings

This weekend my C-Mom and R-Dad came to visit me. While they were here, many exciting things happened. We celebrated my birthday and Halloween! I got to open presents and eat cupcakes and cookies and go trick or treating. Mommy made me a special lion costume...just wait til you see it! There are two videos posted below with pictures. One is of my birthday celebration and the other of Halloween. Enjoy!

My New Haircut

Today Mommy took me to get my first haircut. I was NOT enthused about this. But I did a good job. I was so brave. Miss Krista (who is Mommy's hairstylist) was so nice to me. She was so funny too. I sat and clutched the camera bag as she clipped and snipped. Mommy had to give me a snack near the end, but I held on til the very end. Wait til you see how handsome I am now! I am all grown up!

Date Day at the Patch

So Mommy DRAGGED me to the Pumpkin Patch. She wanted to have a date day with me. I think it is because we always do play dates with my girlfriends...she was feeling a bit left out. So I went, reluctantly and pretended to like it. Anyway. Here are some pictures of our date day. You will love it. It was a perfect day and perfect weather for spending time together picking pumpkins!

Just Me and My Dad

If you have not heard yet...my Daddy is getting ready to deploy again. :( So I try to spend as much time as I can with him lately. Mommy made a movie about a few things we have done together recently. I hope you enjoy it.

Me and My Mop

So, I am sure you have heard by now...I am a walking man. But I have a few things I like to carry with me when I walk. Like the mop. See the obsession began way back when I was a crawling man and I discovered it under the pantry door. Now, you may think that is silly, but I like it. Whenever Mommy opens the pantry I beeline for it. It is interesting! So here is are two little clips of me. Oh, just so you know, in the second one I am glued to Sesame Street so that is what I am watching so intently while I walk and mop.

The Great Escape

On Wednesday, I decided that I needed to escape. Life was so boring inside the house. So I figured out how to open the screen door and venture out into the world! Wow, it was so wonderful. Shasta was so happy and gave me kisses for some reason. I do not get it. Anyway, she helped me discover new things in the backyard. Eventually though, Mommy found us and brought me back inside. :(

The Park and the Box

Guess what? Today Mommy took me and Shasta to the park. We had a lot of fun. I got to go on the swings, and the slide, and the tunnel. Shasta played fetch too! I also found a new use for boxes. I hope you enjoy my pictures!

The Life of a Fighter Pilot

Today Mommy and I went to visit Daddy at work for a Pot Luck dinner with all of our friends. It was a great time and we filled our bellies too! I made a movie to show you all the things we did while we were there. I got to see what being a Fighter Pilot is all about...

The Beach and the Big "Freeze"

Well, no trip to Avalon could be complete without a trip to the beach and a favorite of everyone's...the "Freeze". Now, Mommy is not a beach person, so a quick trip did the trick and I loved every minute of it. I put my toesies in the ocean, played in the sand, and of course ate some as well (sand). You will love the beautiful pictures though. It had rained earlier in the day and cleared out the air, so the pictures of the ocean are just beautiful.
The next day we went to the Avalon Freeze. This was a touching moment for my Mommy as the "Freeze" holds memories of her dear "Scargill". She even let Shasta join us as we enjoyed ordering (which she probably did not do correctly), and eating a delicious "small, dish, twist, rainbow sprinkles".

The Baby Parade and The Zoo

Yesterday evening we went to 96th Street in Stone Harbor to do some shopping and sightseeing. While we were there, a Baby Parade was going on. Yea, a Baby Parade...anyway...today we went to the Cape May County Zoo. It took a long time to get there (no comment), but once we did, it was awesome! There are a lot of pictures, so get ready to enjoy some animals!

Avalon, Part 1

Here are some pictures from my first day in Avalon. I will post others after we go out and do more exploring!

Me and My Crab Hat

Here I helped Mommy post a video of me with my crab hat on. I am just being silly in the video. You will love it, I promise!

Pennsylvania Living

I thought I would post some pictures of what I have been up to while in Pennsylvania with Gram and Pop. I am learning how to do lots of new things! I hope you enjoy the pictures...some of them are quite silly!

Up, Up, Up

So I mentioned earlier this week that my Daddy is on det. He is in Nevada right now. I miss him. Mommy told him that I have been climbing stairs and that she took video of it, but we have been having trouble emailing a copy of it to him. Well, as a result, she is helping me post it below so he can see me on the move. I hope you enjoy it!

Lazy Pennsylvania Day

So for those of you not in the know, my Daddy is away on det for the month of July, so my Mommy, Shasta, and I came to Pennsylvania so we were not lonely. We are visiting Gram and Pop's house! Here are some pictures from our lazy day today! Enjoy!

My New Talent

Guess what? I have a new talent! I am very smart. Mommy took this video while Daddy and I showed off. We surprised her eventhough we had been practicing so hard! Watch and you will find out what it is! (Hint: It is not running or skiing.)

Happy Hippo!

Mommy got me a new pool. I call it Happy Hippo. The other pool was way too big for Mommy to dump the water out of, so she got me this little one. I like it so much better since it is just my size!

Look at me!

I have a hippo!

This is so cool...me and my shades...in my hippo!

Ahhhh...

Shasta thinks the water sprinkler is for her.

I was waving my toy and it fell out of the pool. But the cool thing is that I can get it since the pool is just my size.

Shasta keeps trying to get in my pool. Silly malinois!

Look at me splashing in the pool!

Me an My Girlfriends

Ok, so I have mentioned before that I have girlfriends. Yeah. I do. Yesterday I had playgroup for the first time. Let me tell you that I am the only boy in playgroup so far, so I was "the man". I entertained the mommies and the girlies! Anyway Miss Michaella is very good at taking pictures so she took a TON of pictures for me to share with you all. I posted a link to them below. You can choose to download them to your computer or just view them on the website she has them on. There are a lot of me playing with the girls and the girls admiring me. :) Just so you know who everyone is:
Girfriend Reagan: pink flowery outfit
Girlfriend Sofia: green stripes and jeans
Girlfriend Cora: green top and khakis
Girlfriend Ella: yellow top and polka dots
Kelly: the dog :)
Enjoy! (Next week we are having playgroup at the pool!)

Adventurous, Crawling Me

Shortly after I got back here to California, I really took off, literally. Mommy and Daddy are very excited about how well I move. I never sit in one spot anymore...everything else is so exciting, I need to investigate it. I have learned a few things are off limits, like the fireplace and the air freshners, but I have quickly found some other things that I am allowed to play with. One of them being the dog. :) Shasta is not quite sure about this. I found her toy box and her bed the other day, and although she was very gentle, I am not sure she liked me getting into her stuff.
Below I posted two videos. I cannot reveal their contents, but you will surely enjoy the things that I have found interesting in my adventures through the living room.

My Baptism

Here is a movie of my Baptism. I got Baptised on May 23rd at St. Columbkill's Church in Pennsylvania. That is the Church that my Daddy belonged to when he was a little boy. Msgr. Smith was the priest who baptised me. He was Mommy's pastor when she was growing up. He was very nice to me, except when he gave me a cold, wet bath!

Fun in Pennsylvania

Here is a video of a few different things I did when I was in Pennsylvania with Mommy and Daddy. We went to visit R-Dad's new winery, celebrated Gram and Genevieve's birthdays and just had some fun with relatives.

Gram and Pop and the Petting Zoo

Here is a movie of my visit at Gram and Pop's house and first petting zoo experience. I had so much fun with Gram and Pop! I saw lots of animals, but I did not get to feed them. Mommy said I am too little. Maybe this summer...

My First Airplane Ride

Here is a video of my first airplane experience. It was a ... long one. Mommy and me got stuck in El Paso when the plane we were on from Fresno got rerouted there because of bad storms in Dallas. We stayed there for about 6 hours with about 1500 other unhappy travelers. We finally made it to Dallas later that evening but had missed all the flights to Philadelphia by then. Luckily we met a very nice man who helped us find a hotel locally because it was gridlock in the Dallas airport. We got to Philadelphia on the first flight out of Dallas the following morning. Mommy had about 3 hours of sleep, and I had about 5. We were tired, but so happy to finally see Gram and Pop!

Smiley me!

Here are the latest pictures of me and my family. Some of them are at home here in Lemoore. But there are others of our trip to Monterey this past weekend for the Dining Out that Mommy and Daddy went to. Hope you enjoy them!

I am building!

Look at me! I am so cute and smiley!

My Daddy and crazy big sister dog like to play with me.

Shasta snuggles...

Here I am in my big boy bath

I am not quite sure what to do.

Oh. I guess I am supposed to get soapy. Hmmm...not sure about this.

These are my morning smiles!

I am a happy guy when I get to play in the morning!

I love you!

Mr. Matt (Abbot) came to visit us one night and Shasta listened to him play piano...

Here we are in Monterey, CA. When we got there the Farmer's Blimp was flying overhead!

Mommy thinks this is funny. I don't.

Our hotel...well, actually the BOQ. Can you believe this is a BOQ?

We can't.

We went out to eat at Gionni's Pizza.

Mommy and Daddy said it was good pizza, but look at me sitting in a high chair! With a sippy cup!

This peacock was at the BOQ.

Mommy inched closer...

and closer...

and closer...

Finally she got there, but he would not show off his pretty feathers!

After all that, I was pooped!

What?! I was comfy!

Then I went on my date with my two girlfriends, Ella (far) and Sofia (close).

I did not know what to do. They are girls!

Meanwhile, Mommy and Daddy went to their Dining Out. This is when two silly guys put on hats and had foam swords to guard the beef as it was paraded (all part of the traditions, I guess).

Here is the beef! It is being checked to make sure it is fit for consumption.

Then a bunch of guys sang "God Bless America". Notice they are wearing mexican sombreros and a cactus also joined in on the fun.

When someone at the Dining Out does not follow the rules, they are sent to the Grog. That is a bowl filled with all sorts of alcohol. After you drink from the Grog, you must tip your glass over your head to prove it is empty. Otherwise you must drink again.
These guys did not want to drink from the Grog, so they asked to dance. They wound up being sent to the Grog anyway after the fact.

Didn't Mommy and Daddy look just fabulous?
